Find duplicates by photo content
Image Comparer™ brings a whole new methodology to how users can find duplicate photos. Unlike most duplicate photo finders that search for duplicate files by file name, file size and are unable to find similar files, Image Comparer™ can find similar files with any degree of similarity that can be selected by the user. What's more, Image Comparer™ is able to analyze and recognize photos by content, regardless of their file name, format, photo size, bit depth and orientation of the object. The program identifies even rotated or flipped photos or those that have different shooting conditions. The innovative content-based photo comparison algorithm ensures phenomenal accuracy.
Find duplicate photos or similar pictures with ease
Image Comparer™ lets you find duplicate photos in the computer photo collection and delete redundant items almost hands down. To begin the search, you just run the comparison wizard, specify whether you want to search within one folder, or compare two folders, and select the destination to scan. You can also set the custom level of photo similarity, which determines how hard Image Comparer™ will search for similarities in files. By default, this level is set to 95%. Finally, you need to choose the output folder and click "Process" to get the search started.
Delete, copy, move duplicate files with a single click
Image Comparer™ allows you take different actions on found duplicates. When the scan is over, the program displays the result of comparison - a listing of photos in the gallery along with the top ten similar photos for each selected photo. You can also see supposed duplicates in pairs, next to each other. Each photo file record comes with details regarding the photo format, resolution and file size. You can select redundant files by putting a tick in the checkbox and take action on them - copy, move them to a separate folder, or simply delete. There's also an option that allows you to check photo files with high or low quality automatically.
Scan files in different image formats
Image Comparer™ is able to find duplicate photos and similar images of different formats, such as in RAW, JPEG, J2K, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF, TGA and many others. The list of supported photo files is updated with new formats regularly. Regardless of the file type, the program will find duplicates incredibly quickly.
